In the fall of 2013 I graduated from MATC. I had was going crazy looking for a IT job just to get my foot in the door. Interviews after interviews no one wanted to hire me. An opportunity opened up at Froedtert Hospital as a Data Analyst three months into the project I apply where I did my internship last summer.
Almost a year and I must say I really enjoy my job. I am able to interact with the Staff, Children, and Parents at the all the schools. We were able to complete a summer project with our team this summer by implementing Google Chromebooks and Chromeboxes. We also up graded some of the equipment to Cisco Catalyst 2960-S Flex Stack. I really enjoyed being involved in the project converting the switches. I am also exposed to different types of technologies such as Apple TVs, IPads, IPod's and chrome cast, projectors, audio system, Voice over Ethernet, and POE Switches, and Routers. Smartboards, Smart projectors, Epson Projector, and Epson document cameras. I've ran cabling through walls and ceilings.
But, most of all I love the Tech Team their willingness to take me under there wings and teach me everyday is a true blessing. I love my job and I hope that must of you find a place the you enjoy doing what you love.
