Internet Sells Tax

I was searching different websites for information on the topic.  I was listening to podcast by Webmasterradio  there are E-Com Experts.  Mark Levine was giving his option on the topic how the tax would afford the small businesses.  The government has setup a website called www.taxcloud.net it's a software that will give you the rate for each state that you would pay from the purchaser states.  The tax will be for business who make more than a million dollars.  Amazon and Ebay support the bill but, they are fighting for a flat rate across the board.

  • Shipping Cost
  • Internet Sale Tax
  • They are 43 states that quantify for this tax.

I understand that our government is trying to dig it self out of debt and yes, I am concern about the small business who are trying to stay a in business.  So, maybe the government can tax a flat rate for online purchases so it would be easier for small business to continue to run.  Can small side business survive this tax bill?  I wonder how it would affect those side business.  As, far I can see the Senate is split it depends on the majority vote to pass the bill.  We would have to wait and see what happens in the Senate.  We need a way to find a solution to help our Country to get out of debt I'm just worried that they use the money they collect form the State to improve the State will being and create new jobs.
